| This picture was taken around 1920. It really was black. It was all we could do to see anything and little
pieces were chipping off. Now we have a really good idea of how grandma looked when she was 21, and have made copies
for all the family to pass on the their children. (2 hours) |

| This picture was taken in 1969 with a Kodak disc camera. The film for this camera made a nice snap shot,
but was very grainy and did not give a clear picture. As you can see, the picture has a nice new look and Mom Mom
would be please with the restoration of the color to her beautiful red roses. I have always wondered if the rose
was named after her because she loved them so much or if she was named after the Rose. This picture was scanned
from a 5x7 and can now be printed to a beautiful 8x10. For a larger picture another scan would be necessary. Now
all of her Great-Great Grandchildren will be able to own a CD with restored pictures of her and no one will have
to compete for pictures of her. She was the grand diva of the Drury family, always the lady and always dressed
up. She was forever the peace- maker and the family defender. (30 minutes) |
